Tartar Sauce Recipe

Tangy, crunchy and filled with zest, this Homemade Tartar Sauce is dynamic and packed with flavor.  Amazingly delicious, truly flavorful, made with just a few ingredients, you’ll love this dip!

Ingredients  - 1/2 cup good quality mayonnaise  - 1/2 cup finely chopped dill pickle  - 2 tablespoons white onions, finely chopped  - 2 teaspoons capers, finely chopped  - 1 teaspoon fresh lemon juice 

Ingredients - 1/2 teaspoon dijon mustard  - 1/2 teaspoon sugar  - 1 tablespoon fresh dill, finely chopped (or parsley) Pinch of freshly ground black pepper  - 1 teaspoon horseradish (optional)

In a small bowl, stir together the mayonnaise, pickle, onion, capers, lemon juice, mustard, dill, black pepper and sugar.

Use immediately or store in the refrigerator in an airtight container for up to 3-4 days.

Use as a dip for fried fish, crab cakes or other seafood, fries, chips, and crudités. Mix into tuna, egg or potato salad, or spread onto bread for tuna, egg or chicken salad sandwiches, as well as for fried chicken or fish sandwiches, and salmon burgers.
