These Chili Lime Flavored Roasted Chickpeas are an easy and delicious way to add nutrition to your diet, and are gluten free as well!

Preheat the oven to 400 degrees F. Spray a large baking sheet with cooking spray and set aside.

Rinse, then dry chickpeas with a paper towel. Add chickpeas to the baking sheet and roast for 30 minutes turning once after 15 minutes.

Remove chickpeas from the oven and reduce oven temperature to 350 degrees F. Place chickpeas in a large bowl and drizzle with olive oil, lime juice and maple syrup.

Sprinkle the chili lime seasoning over the chickpeas and gently mix together making sure the spices are evenly distributed and taking care not to break the chickpeas into bits.

Bake in the preheated oven at 350 degrees for 30 minutes until crispy and golden brown, flipping them over halfway through.

If the chickpeas are still a bit mealy in the middle, turn the oven off, with the chickpeas still in the oven, and let them sit for an additional 10-20 minutes.

This healthy snack is now ready to be served!
